Northwest Athletic Association of Community Colleges (NWAACC)
The LCC women’s basketball team closed out the season by going 1-2 at the NWAACC Basketball Championships in Kennewick. The Devils opened up with a win over Southwestern Oregon, then dropped games to Spokane and Clackamas. It was a great season for Chad Meadors’ team as they had a 22-6 record and captured an undefeated West Region championship. Sophomores Mollee Schwegler, Eva Everett, Lacey Seidl and Chardonnae Mortimer certainly left their mark during a two year career. All have been selected to represent LCC at Sunday’s (March 13) NWAACC All-Star Games in Everett. Schwegler ends up the all-time leading scorer in LCC history. By the way, the LCC team represented our campus with class in Kennewick. Read the news stories:

All-Star Game
The LCC men will be represented by Keith Moilanen in Sunday’s (March 13) All-Star Game, also in Everett. Although the Red Devils didn’t make the tourney in Kennewick this season, their first missed event since 2003, it must be noted that the last time the Devils didn’t make it, they came back and won 11 straight games in the tourney including back-to-back titles and three straight championship games. It is something to shoot for.
